Essence Makeup!

I have never tried Essence products before, but they were sponsoring the MTV EMAs and there was tons of makeup there so I had to pick some up! It all looked so amazing so I am going to show you some of the products I got and what I think of them!

I fell in love with the lipsticks and eyeshadows. The colours were so pretty! Left to right the lipstick colours I got were; 65  Glow Neon, 62 Rockin' Red, and 63 Flattering Nude. My favourite is the red lipstick in the middle as it is a little bit of a darker red which I think is perfect for this time of year. I will definitely be repurchasing it when it runs out!

I also love the eyeshadows! Although I have not worn them yet, I am really impressed by the pigmentation by just swatching them. 

This colour is '01 Irresistible Green Dream'.

The blue is one of my favourites. This is the colour '05 Irresistible Blue Sky'

And lastly another favourite is this colour '63 Is it Purple?'. I really like this metallicy colour. In some lights it looks silver but you can also clearly see the purple undertone. Overall the eyeshadows are some really fun colours to play about with!

The last thing I got from Essence is this 'Lash Mania' mascara. I was also really impressed by this as it gives a decent volume to the lashes, however  I felt it didn't really contribute much to the length. I wasn't too bothered by the length though, as my eyelashes are naturally long anyway so it gave them a little bit of depth. I would recommend this mascara to people with longer eyelashes as it does give more volume than length, however you could always just use a lengthening mascara underneath!

Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this makeup as I would go back and repurchase some more items! Have you guys ever tried any of this Essence makeup? What did you think? Did you like it?xox
