A Trip To Madrid

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. It has been too long since I have posted on my blog, and I have missed it too much! I will hopefully have weekly (or more) post up from now on.

Recently in May I went on holiday to Madrid with a few of my friends from uni. It was a fashion based trip as we visited the offices of a fashion magazine, a TV set where we learned about how clothes are picked out for shows, and we also met and were able to visit the showrooms of Jimena Mazucco (a spanish influencer). At the showrooms we were lucky enough to be able to meet and view the designs of BRE-A, an up and coming designer.

Before I went to Madrid, I didn't think that it would be as fashion based as it is. The city is truly gorgeous (and definitely somewhere I would love to live) as are the people that live there! Fashion truly thrives in Madrid.

Shopping in Madrid is truly an experience. There is nothing better than strolling through the shops in 29 degree weather with an ice cream in hand, and then walking into an air conditioned shop with gorgeous clothes everywhere! If you ever go to Madrid, the Gran Via is definitely the place to be. It houses the worlds biggest Primark (which spans over 4 floors- which is kinda ridiculous but in the best way), Zara, H&M, Pull and Bear and many more shops. However Madrid also has many streets which are home to Gucci, Prada, Ralph Lauren, Pronovias and many more! Whether you are a luxury shopper or a lover of high street fashion Madrid has a place for you.

As you can see I really loved Madrid and all it had to offer and I would love to visit again - I was already planning my next visit on the flight home! If you ever have the chance to visit Madrid, I truly advise you to take it. This city is truly beautiful with equally lovely people living there and I promise that if you ever go, you will not regret it!
