Erase Paste Benefit Concealer - Review

I have heard quite a lot of good reviews about the Erase Paste from Benefit, and have wanted to try it for quite a while now so a few weeks ago I thought i'd pluck up the courage and go get one and try it out for myself.

I got the concealer in the shade 02 (medium).

The concealer comes in a small box with instructions and a small spatula. I was told that I would not need to use much of the product as a small bit goes a long way.

When I tried it underneath my eyes, it didn't really brighten my under eyes. I may have been matched to a slightly darker colour. It had pink undertones which could clearly be seen when I wore it under my eyes, but I covered it up with powder which was okay. As I wore it throughout the day, it became quite creased under my eye. When I wore it on my blemishes, however it was fine and it kept them covered all day.
Overall I would give this product 3/5. I was not too pleased with what it looked like under my eye, but I have quite oily skin which may have contributed to the creasing. I was, however, content with how well it concealed my blemishes.
My advice is if you are going to try this product, use a primer. It is a very good concealer and if you have no problem with oily skin then you should definitely go ahead and try it!

Have any of you guys tried this concealer? What did you think of it?xox

  17. One of my friends purchased this and wasn't too happy with it because of the creasing aspect you mentioned here. I have oily skin so don't think it would be too great for me. thanks for the honest review! I'm a new follower and look forward to reading more of your posts.
